Makers artist designers and crafters have till the end of the holiday to accrue funds to see them through he next 3-4 months including helping to help make with their Spring 2013 stock! To do so they need supplies , space to work and sales! We need to step up and help our selves. it will take some time for funds generated to reach those in need and even so 60% is used in Administrative cost. We have a week to pull together a fundraiser and it frankly helps if you sign up and share with your friends online and offline and encourage them to buy local and made in ny this Holiday!

There is talent in NY.
So it really bothers me the number of artist desigenrs and craftersstuggling even with all the money and funding being designated! We're about to be come part of Tibiae Tech but during our Brooklyn Fashion Week's exploration of technology and eveolving busienss we held offline events, and while that works sometimes we need to come off line. Especially with clothing!
