Brooklyn Fashion Week is a collaborative Business Support Program for and by  local Independent

Fashion Designers!

In  the three clips the designers takes us into  her workroom shares some of her fashions and introduces herself! She also offer  her leggings at a special price online!

The Bulk of your purchase goes directly to the designer... we select only  one or two items per designer do that they are free to conduct business as usual!

Essentially  designers offer  a group  buy and items ship  between 7- days to  8 weeks!  
Please check each designers details before purchasing and ensure your contact  number is up to date!

The Special prices in the widget to the left  are avaiable only by shopping  though the widget itself!

Our vison is to help

• Build awareness of Brooklyn Designers
• help them  Sell and thrive and
• to enable  lovers of BKstyle the opportunity to collect  BK designer pieces!

We are currently working  on affiliate tools to allow Bloggers and others  to  show their support while earning  commisions on designer prducts!

We're not a Fashion Show or a Fashion blog! We're a fashion Industry support initiative! For the most part self supporting our priority is the designers and the  consumers who support them! Brooklyn Fashion Week 2010 will introduce and adopt  new media and Emerging technology tools and trends! In light of the present practices within the industry, Brooklyn Fashion Week is the proposed media policy for Brooklyn Fashion Week October 2010

Creative commons 3.0 Share Alike license to cover some Brooklyn Fashion Week Events!

Simply put this event is designed and produced under the sponsorship of Streets of New York 411! Designers will retain copyright to their creative expression! Designers will have final say as to the use of camera during their presentation!

All images shot or recorded at Brooklyn Fashion Weeks events cannot be resold or used for commercial purposes without the express permission from Streets of New York and 28 Squared

Photographer and media persons with concerns can voice these at the Brooklyn Fashion Week event on Monday September 27^th sign up her By Friday 12 noon for details!

Essential this allows designers access to images of their labor and investment!

Media Privilege

for commercial entities sites or blogs

Blogs, news sites etc that commercial interest need to register and obtain a press pass before the event as well as add link that will be provided!

Media license

Media sites wishing resale privileges will be issued a license as determined by the designers. Email blast Blods etc with advertising are considered commercial entities!

Media personnel not  adhering to these guidelines will not be invited or admitted to  future events! Funds collected will be used in a Designer’s Support fund!

No cameras are allowed in trade events!

Video and Photo privileges are reserved BY Brooklyn Fashion Week At trade events!

Steamed Live events or sessions

Brooklyn Fashion Week reserves the right to instigate a no media rule during special session or consumer events when Live streaming! Media will be notified in advance!

Our press event will be held the week prior to the vent date and time will be revealed to press invites!
