4. Streets Of New York 411 Sponsors Brooklyn Fashion Week events

Many  local designers are independent  businesses struggling  to  stay alive in  one of the most  prolific design scenes in The world, specifically New York ! For many it is the Mecca of Fashion, surviving and standing  out  even  in Brooklyn has become a challenge for the most market savvy! Enter Demarketplace a local  art  project that explored the concept of a Virtual  network! As such  small independent  designers can  collaborate and leverage their numbers for better deals for corporations!

Streets Of New York 411  is one such corporate entity that  has stepped up and is sponsorship  BROOKLYN FASHION WEEK and it's  BKSTYLIST!™ program! This allows designers to have a presence in city wide events such as Internet weekNy and EarthDay Celebration! Activities that would previously fall  previously  outside their budgets!

Brooklyn Fashion Week has venues for indie designers who wish to have a  retail venue and be part of Vogue Fashion Night Out Septtember 10th

Walk with your questions so we can  ensure you are ready!

We're also starting Prep for our Brooklyn Fashion WeeK Event!

August 2nd- Yes it is THIS MONDAY... but we become more and more aware of how much  help designers need

We need to have press packages ready  fro distribution by Mid August!

The Last Quarter is one of the most important  for designers (and retailers)

We are looking for designers ( who can be in NY for dates) interested in  selling to trade as well as Direct to Consumer

Please bring

* Sample of your garment, Line sheet
* List of store in NY area  You wish to sell to
* List of Press Departments :- Magazines, web, Mobile, trade you'd like to be featured in!
* Your Press collateral as well as your Sales collateral for review
* Don't have any  walk with  pen paper or Laptop and come prepared to get  the ball rolling!

Presentation & Discussion on Production, Funding and delivery options with professionals in the  field!!

Special guest Dorothy Williams on preparing Spec Package development:- Spec packages include: technical sketch (front/back of garment), fabric/trim details, construction page, trim page, grading. ( plus size, petite and missy grading.)
