My original plan was to end the community education aspect of our exploratory project at the
close of 2009! However since FashioncampNy and subsequently with my
stepping up to lead the Black media Professionals meetup, I have found
my self inundated with request for assistance in adopting, adapting and
integrating "this web thing"
I am able to reach and communicate but I have also discovered that
somehow there is not much help that seems to reach or apply to the
needs of this core creative class with a growing need to find a way to
support themselves and their families! This event helps raise funds
towards these projects!

BrooklynFashionWeek.com is the only Brooklyn Fashion Week event designed by a wide open group of Brooklyn designers. Yes designed. We have realized since Brooklyn Style that we were the ones with a stake in this business and spent 2005 to date designing and testing our format. We focus On The smalldetailsBefore , during and yes after offering support with an incubator, Production space and using this as anopportunity to raise funding for designers!
A trade and consumer event it is open to any designer who is ready to show and/or sell. There is a small marketing fee and we are working with a broader cross section of the Brooklyn Business community to provide services and support. during The "Prelude 'to fashion week. Our Technology focus will take fashion presentationn and marketing and ecommerce virtual, portable and mobile, We will also introduce 2d Barcode technology as well aslive andtaped straming!
